It's not a downright deniable suggestion, but it is a discardable one for sure. Perhaps it could benefit artists that want to get their webcomics noticed, but would it be worth the trouble to construct a whole 'nother portal just for comics?
@WendigoVDB I don't think he meant another portal, just another spot on the front page.
@BenTibbetts Hසmm, perhaps, then. I wonder if they'd be able to filter all the comics submitted to the art portal though.

That would be really cool honestly, I would like a little spot just to read comics which would also mean more comic artists will get the spotlight more often
I'd love a comic portal
We've been overdue to add a Comics genre. We didn't add one originally because the genres were based on mediums and a comic could be illustrated in various mediums. The thought was people could just tag things as comics. Looking back, a standalone Comic genre would be ideal and it's still on the todo list. We've been holding off on making it official until we have true multi-image support, along with some related features that could give people better options for how they present their comic.
When all that finally happens, a front page spot for comics could be a nice addition!
